ZYLINDO combines the energy efficiency of LED technology with the photometric performance of the LensoFlex®2 engine developed by Schréder, providing symmetrical and asymmetrical light distributions.

The 360° protector is made of UV-stabilised polycarbonate. It hosts the photometric engine and two oval rods in resistant extruded aluminium, connecting the bottom to the top of the luminaire.
ZYLINDO can withstand harsh environmental conditions and even vandalism as it offers a high tightness level and a very high degree of impact resistance.
As a founding member of the Zhaga consortium, Schréder has participated in the creation of Zhaga-D4i certification program and the initiative of this group to standardize an interoperable ecosystem. The D4i specifications take the best of the standard DALI2 protocol and adapt it to an intra-luminaire environment.
As Zhaga-D4i certified luminaire, ZYLINDO complies with all the criteria including mechanical fit, digital communication, data reporting and power requirements within a single luminaire, ensuring plug-and-play interoperability of luminaires and peripherals such as connectivity nodes.

As an option, this luminaire can be equipped with standard 7-pins NEMA or Zhaga sockets, enabling easy access to the digital era of lighting with advanced lighting features that plan, monitor and control outdoor lighting networks.
Installation and Maintenance
ZYLINDO is delivered pre-wired for mounting on a Ø60mm (with an accessory) or Ø76mm spigot.
Offering tool free access for maintenance, the photometric engine of Zylindo is fixed on an extruded aluminium heatsink that can be accessed by pinching two stainless steel spring locks.
A reusable extruded gasket ensures that the luminaire can be closed in a safe and easy manner after maintenance and guarantees a high tightness level.
Multipole disconnectors enable the gear tray to be easily removed, without any tools, after opening the top cap and pulling out the photometric engine. This design supports circular economy principles as it offers the possibility to extend the service life.
